Mission Statement

Our mission is to encourage, inspire, enlighten, empower, and serve as advocates for the students who attend Bridgewater State University by building partnerships with the university and the members and friends of the Afro-American Alumni Association--to ensure a quality experience for all students before, during, and after their time at Bridgewater.

Goal

Our goal is to:

1. Serve as examples to the college community by virtue of giving back to our institution - utilizing our time, talent, and treasure
    

2. Develop a growing network of alumni thus creating a close-knit community through participation in university-sponsored activities, service projects, and Afro-American Alumni Association sponsored events
    

3. Continue to build on the legacy of the founding members
