After peer review, Carl Varnerin's (MS in Management) research paper "Socio-Political Response to Land Based Wind Power and the Manifestation of the Response via the Internet" has been accepted for presentation and publication at the International Symposium on Technology and Society (ISTAS). The ISTAS 08 host is the National Research Council Canada Institute for Information Technology(NRC-IIT) in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Cancourseada. ISTAS 08 is sponsored by the IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology. Carl created his research paper as a student in the MGMT 501 Systems Research course in Fall 2007. The conference proceedings will be published at IEEexplore.
Stephen Bates (MS in Management student) has co-authored a paper, Effective Management of the Independent Imaging Review Process, published in Applied Clinical Trials. The paper is the result of research conducted in Dr. Martin Grossman's (Management) , Strategic Management of Technological Innovation (MGMT562).
Professor Robert Wolk (Management) has co-authored a paper with graduate student Tim Hebert which has been accepted for conference presentation and publication. The article Back to the Maxwell Librarys Future: Student Library and Information Resource will be presented at the Information Systems Education Conference (ISECON) in Dallas, Texas, November 2-5, 2006.
Professor Robert Wolk (Management) has co-authored a paper with graduate management alumna Christine Perakslis '2005. The article, Social Acceptance of RFID as a Biometric Security Measure, has been accepted for publication by Technology and Society Magazine, a publication of IEEE. The original research was presented at the International Symposium on Technology and Society at Loyola Marymount University in June 2005 and published at IEEE-Explore. Christine is now a full-time professor at Johnson & Wales University. This is the fourth collaboration between Christine, Professor Wolk, and other graduate management students.
The research article "Website Usability in Higher Education" by graduate business students Hope Aubin, Sandra Christoun, and Christine Hannon (with Robert Wolk as editor) has been accepted for publication in the Information System Educators Journal.

All three articles presented at the November 2005 Information Systems Educators Conference (ISECON) in Newport, Rhode Island were approved for publication in the Information Systems Education Journal (ISEDJ). The articles will be published later this academic year.

Master of Science in Management students presented their research "Moms with Style" at Reebok International World Headquarters in Canton, Mass. on December 1st, 2005. Students conducted a focus group and created a survey that they administered to local area women. The presentation to Reebok included creative ideas, graphic presentations, and research analysis using SPSS software. Students included Austin Awasung, Cristin Jordan, Timea Kovacs, Jessica McCaffrey, Frederick Rheaume, Mark Robbillard, Deborah Sprinsky, Margarita Vieira, Rhonda Walsh, and Maura Whittemore. Reebok Product Manager Lauren D'Angelo and Bridgewater Professor Robert Wolk monitored the project.
Of the 30 graduate students participating in this year's graduate symposium, 12 are students in Professor Peter Sietins' (Management) MGMT581 course.
Susan Ventura, graduate of the M.S. in Management program, was named as one of the "Best of the Best" by Advance for Nurses. Susan is Administrative Director, Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA.
