The Clement C. Maxwell Library maintains an extensive collection of research materials in support of the Bridgewater State University Canadian Studies Program. Holdings include electronic databases, journals, newspapers, reference materials and monographs covering Canada's arts, commerce, economy, foreign relations, geography, history, literature, politics, and sociology. In addition, the library boasts a complete collection of Canadian topographical maps and charts, a gift of the Constance Killam Trust and the Elizabeth Killam Rodgers Trust.
The Maxwell Library is also a selective depository for Canadian government documents.
