This panel will feature four superintendents/hiring personnel from Southeastern, MA school districts and will focus on the following topics:

• Personal Characteristics and particular skills sought in candidates
• Typical interview questions
• The hiring process in each panelist's school system
• The number of teacher openings each panelist typically has in a year
• Tips for effective resumes and cover letters
• Technological skills sought in candidates
• Opinions on bringing portfolios to interviews
• Expectations of regular classroom teachers with special needs students in inclusion classrooms
• Advice for education majors entering the job market

5:30 - 7:00 p.m.          Hiring Personnel Informational Fair - Campus Center Ballroom

An opportunity for hiring personnel to meet the best Teacher Candidates in the Southeastern, MA area and for Senior Education Majors to network informally with Hiring Personnel from this region and make valuable connections for their upcoming job searches.
