At Bridgewater State University, we want you to experience a community
of learners that values diversity and the richness of a global community. We
want you to join us from your homes all over the world and bring with you your
language, experiences and your cultural perspectives to our American students,
faculty and staff. Our international students bring the knowledge of the world
to our campus. If you are an international student, our admissions team will
work with you throughout the admissions process.
In addition to our supportive admissions team, international students
are encouraged to utilize
International Student
Services (ISS). International Student
Services' mission is to enhance the educational experiences of students and
scholars and facilitate positive growth opportunities while continuing to evolve
as a global community. ISS assists with maintenance of immigration status, on-
and off-campus employment, pre-arrival and re-entry information, and conducts
various informational workshops. ISS currently serves international students
from Belize, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Cape Verde, China, England, Hong Kong,
India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Poland, Russia,
South Korea, and Turkey. If you would like to contact ISS, please e-mail the
staff at
iss@bridgew.edu.
Though financial aid is not available to international students, there are a
limited number of
graduate assistantships,
research assistantships,
and graduate student scholarships
available for eligible students who demonstrate financial need.
