Lambda Pi Eta

Students can be become members of the Gamma Mu chapter of Lambda Pi Eta if they have:

1. Completed 60 credits overall
2. Completed 12 credits within the Communication Studies major
3. Have a 3.0 GPA overall
4. Have a 3.25 GPA within their communication studies courses.

Induction ceremonies will be held at least once per year, primarily during the Spring.

The membership fee for new LPE students is $30 Students receive a certificate that is suitable for framing, along with a pin to indicate their membership.

Students also receive all of the benefits that come with the membership. This includes the opportunity to apply for nationally competitive scholarships, conduct research where they can receive recognition at the National Communication Association conference, and network with other students and chapters of Lambda Pi Eta across the nation.
