Field Lining, Preparation and Maintenance
All field lining must be done by BSC grounds. No one is permitted to paint their own lines. If possible, provide grounds with diagrams from the sponsor. There is a slight difference between lining for men's and women's fields. White paint is used to line all fields. If a field usage overlaps on a specific field, yellow paint may be required to differentiate the two fields (color paint costs more and may result in a fee to CESO). There may be additional overtime costs incurred beyond those outlined below if the grounds crew cannot get on to the fields during regular hours to prepare fields (mowing, watering etc).

Repainting of fields
One person, four-hour minimum
Immediately before, during and after an event on an athletic field, grounds will provide the necessary support. The grounds crew will do the following before and during a game as needed: drag, wet and mark the infield clay, maintain the block house restrooms and clean up trash. Following the event, all trash will be removed from the field.
| Laborers: | 1-2 grounds crew |
| Time: | Will start 2 hours prior to the start of the game and remain until one hour after the game for cleanup |
| Materials: | 1-40 pound bag of marking lime per field, per game |
The College retains the right to cancel an event due to weather conditions and the impact using a field may have on its condition, the safety of the participants or an unforeseen incident. This can include wet as well as drought conditions. Grounds may inform CESO of the necessity of cancellation.
Rain conditions may result in an additional fee to apply a drying agent to the field to absorb moisture to make the field useable.
Any cancellations need to be received by Grounds no less than four hours before start time of the overtime personnel scheduled.
A two-week notice for preparation of any field is required.
It is recommended that a grounds crew member be present for any field usage to ensure safety issues are met and participants are kept in designated areas.
