If the University is open and hosting events but you, as the event sponsor, wish to cancel an event because of inclement weather, you may do so within the guidelines stipulated in your contract.
Please be advised that if your event involves food service and your cancellation is not received in the timeframe as outlined in the contract, you will be held responsible for the associated costs. If the University cancels due to inclement weather, you will not be held responsible for the costs.
