The Criminal Justice program offers undergraduate students an opportunity to earn both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in criminal justice with an additional year of full-time study. This joint degree program is a 154 credit program that leads to both a B.S. and a M.S. degree in Criminal Justice. The program is consistent with the dual mission of Bridgewater State College to educate the residents of southeastern Massachusetts and the Commonwealth and to use the College's intellectual, scientific, and technological resources to support and advance the well-being of the region and the state. Specifically, the program educates students about the dynamics of crime, criminal behavior, the criminal justice system and how these complex factors interact in recursive relationships with social institutions and public realities.
