External Proposal Development Grant

Funding is available to support faculty and librarians who plan to seek external funding for research, scholarship and creative activity or departmental, college and/or institutional initiatives.  External Proposal Development Grant (EPDG) applicants are eligible for:

  • One course release OR a summer stipend ($3100), AND

  • Reimbursable expenses directly related to EPDG development (up to $1000). 

Awards are given twice-yearly.  Applications are due in the fall and spring.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to refer to the "Guidelines" below to assist with grant preparation.

        Submit the original and five copies (for a total of six) of the following:

  • Application

  • Proposal Construction Guidelines

  • Budget Worksheet (formulas included) and, if applicable either an eRTA or RTA

  • Request for Travel Approval EV  (Electronic Version Please note:  The e-RTA form cannot be accessed from off campus.)

  • Request for Travel Approval PV (Paper Version)
