GLBT Campus Exhibit 2011 As part of our LGBT History Month celebrations, the Rondileau Campus Center with the Pride Center, is running an exhibit the entire month of October. Each day, a different GLBT pioneer will be featured at BSU in an exhibit located in the Rondileau Campus Center and via the web video below. Visit the RCC exhibit and this page daily to learn about all 31 GLBT heroes of history. |

Pallone
Dave Pallone worked 18 years as a professional umpire; 10 of those years with the National Baseball League. As the third youngest umpire in baseball history, he demonstrated courage, professionalism and the ability to withstand adversity through many of baseballs high profile and controversial events. He is the author of the 1990 New York Times best-selling autobiography, Behind the Mask: My Double Life in Baseball. |

John Amaechi, "Man
in the Middle"
John Amaechi, retired NBA star, author of the best-selling autobiography, Man in the Middle, and official spokesperson for the Human Rights Campaign's Coming Out Project, gave an inspirational keynote at BSU on achieving your dreams while remaining true to yourself. He has made numerous media appearances such as on Good Morning America, CNN's Headline News, ESPN's Outside the Lines, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Paula Zahn Now, and Your World with Neil Cavuto on FOX News.
