| Phil Birge-Liberman, BSC geography major 1997. In 1999, Phil earned an M.A. in Geography from Western Michigan University. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Geography at Syracuse University. His research lies at the intersection of urban, historical, and environmental geographies, and his dissertation examines the discourse surrounding the ecological restoration and historic preservation of the public parks of Boston's Emerald Necklace. He is also a visiting lecturer of geography here at BSC. |
