"I find Geography to be not just an academic discipline, but a life discipline.  I chose Geography as my major because I found it important to learn more about my physical world.  I have always been fascinated with maps, the environment and I felt like my knowledge was lacking in geography (something was missing).  The faculty received accolades from other geography majors and they recommended that I give it a try.  I am proud of that decision."
