Students seek counseling for many reasons, in such areas as academic difficulties, stress,
depression, family concerns and relationship problems. At the Counseling Center, a professional
staff of counselors and graduate interns work with students to promote personal
growth and academic success. Services include brief individual and group counseling
as well as assessment and consultation. Services are offered with the utmost
concern for student's confidentiality. When appropriate, students are referred
to outside resources. Counseling is arranged by appointment; however, urgent
care is available. In a crisis when the Counseling Center is closed, contact
campus police at 911 from an on-campus phone or 508.531.1212, or your RA or RD,
or your local hospital emergency room.
