Outreach Education offers trainings and presentations on various alcohol/drug and related health issues, provides resources to the campus community and coordinates programming efforts. The comprehensive, community-based Alcohol/Drug Program within Outreach Education works to create appropriate norms around alcohol use and challenges attitudes and behaviors related to other drug use. The program oversees the BSU Peer Educators, a selective peer education program in which students educate other students about alcohol, other drugs and related health and social issues. Peer Educators provide engaging, inclusive and informative events, workshops, and awareness campaigns around issues faced by BSU students, and serve to connect students to University and community resources. For additional information see the BSU Peer Educator website at www.bridgew.edu/McADOC/.
