Participating in all aspects of campus life, such as clubs and activities, is an important part of the educational process. Through payment of the Student Services fee, all undergraduate students become members of the SGA. Monies from this fee are used to enable SGA recognized clubs to sponsor organizations, activities and projects. Clubs and organizations are formed when a group of students has a shared interest and the group applies for recognition through the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership. Once recognized, the organization may be eligible to apply to the SGA for funding. The SGA is comprised of an executive board and the 23-member student senate, who determines the projects and programs to be funded with the SGA fee. The SGA appoints student representatives to college-wide committees and governance bodies. Contact SGA or the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership for details.
