The Annual Fund - This Year and Every Year!

At Bridgewater State College, our commitment begins with a basic premise: to achieve more, we must expect more - both from ourselves and the institution.  Your Annual Fund support is what makes these expectations and achievements a reality at BSC. 

Annual Fund donations are among the most significant gifts to any college, because these dollars represent thousands of individual gifts from alumni, parents and friends who care deeply about Bridgewater.  The Annual Fund helps make higher education affordable and accessible to qualified, motivated students though financial assistance.  It ensures a rigorous, innovative academic environment though support of faculty and librarian research grants, undergraduate student research, study abroad opportunities, and other academic initiatives.  We are grateful to those who give to the Annual Fund; you help strengthen Bridgewater's position as one of the top institutions in the Commonwealth and allow the college to remain flexible and focused on meeting its most pressing needs.  Last year the Annual Fund raised over $500,000.

Your participation is important and appreciated, and this year when you give to the Annual Fund before June 30, 2010, BSC Foundation leaders will match your gift from a challenge gift pool which is expected to reach $50,000.  All new and increased Annual Fund gifts will be matched until the full $50,000 has been realized.

·         If you did not make an Annual Fund gift to BSC last year, now is your chance to double your impact.

·         If you already support the BSC Annual Fund, increase your gift and the increased amount qualifies for the match.

The challenge highlights the Annual Fund as the highest current priority for private giving at BSC.
