Massachusetts Hall of Fame for Science Educators

The Massachusetts Hall of Fame for Science Educators was established in 1991-1992. Its purpose is to honor science educators who made significant contributions to science education in the State of Massachusetts over an extended period of time.

The Massachusetts Association of Science Supervisors, the Massachusetts Association of Science Teachers, STARS, GBEST, MABT, and businesses involved in science education have supported this program. In 1992 and 1999, new inductees were honored at the NSTA meetings in Boston.  In other years, new inductees have been honored at a banquet at the annual MASS Conference in May.

The opportunity to enter the Hall of Fame is open to all science educators. This includes not only teachers on all levels, but all science educators affiliated with cultural and industrial institutions that are involved in science education in Massachusetts.
