Don is presently a teacher of biology, earth science, and ecology at Arlington High School. He has been the recipient of many awards including the Outstanding Biology Teacher Award for Massachusetts and the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Teaching. Don has also been actively involved in environmental issues and has imparted his care and concern to his students. His efforts in this area have also resulted in his receipt of the Excellence in Environmental Education Award from the State Department of Environmental Affairs. Don has been active in local and state organizations and has served as an extraordinary example of outstanding teaching.
