Paul has spent thirty-three years as a distinguished teacher of biology and earth science at Randolph High School. During that time he has been recognized as an Access Excellence Fellow from Genentech, a Summer Research Fellow at Children's Hospital, and a Project Bridge Intern at Polaroid Corporation. Paul has been a leading force in biology education at the local, state, and national levels. He is a long-time member, and past president, treasurer, and membership chair of the Massachusetts Association of Biology Teachers. He is the founder and past editor of the MABT Alert, an electronic mini newsletter to inform constituents of upcoming conferences and opportunities. To his colleagues he is "the epitome of the model teacher, scholar, leader, and friend."
