Bridgewater--- The following students from Bridgewater State College presented research and participated in panel discussions at the annual Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences annual meeting which was held in Boston:
Meghan McCoy of Fall River, a graduate student studying for a master's degree in education counseling, presented a paper entitled "From Research to Practice: Promising Trends in Tracking and Preventing Bullying."
Cliff Oliveira of New Bedford, a junior majoring in sociology Bridgewater State College, was a research presenter. He is a 2006 graduate of New Bedford High School.
Tiffany Therrien of Fairhaven, a graduate student studying for a master's degree in criminal justice, presented her research was entitled "Moral Panics: Public Opinion Regarding Drunk Driving and Drug Offenses."
