BSC Observatory Open to Public

Bridgewater -- The Bridgewater State College Observatory will be open to the public, weather permitting, at 8:30 p.m. on every Wednesday through July 29. Private nights are available Tuesdays and Thursdays in June. The Observatory will be closed the month of August.

The observatory is located on Summer Street, approximately one half mile from the campus. It is recessed from the street on the opposite side of the road from Carver Pond.

Children as young as 6 and adults of all ages are welcome to come to look at stars, planets, galaxies and any other interesting celestial objects.
