Directions to the Observatory

The observatory is located at 400 Summer St., Bridgewater, MA 02325

Directions from the North

  • Take I-93 to Route 24 South
  • Follow Route 24 South to Exit 15 (Bridgewater/Raynham - Route 104).
  • Take Route 104 East to stop sign (approximately three miles).
  • Turn left and approach rotary in Bridgewater Center.
  • Enter the rotary. Turn onto School Street, which is the 2nd exit.
  • Turn right onto Summer Street and continue until you see the observatory on your left,past Park Ave. (The observatory's sign is brown with white lettering).

Directions from the West

  • Follow the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) to I-495 South to Exit 7A (Route 24 North).
  • Once on Route 24 North, take Exit 15 (Bridgewater/Raynham - Route 104).
  • Follow Route 104 East to stop sign (approximately three miles).
  • Turn left and approach rotary in Bridgewater Center.
  • Enter the rotary. Turn onto School Street, which is the 2nd exit.
  • Turn right onto Summer Street and continue until you see the observatory on your left, past Park Ave. (The observatory's sign is brown with white lettering).

Directions from the East

  • Follow Route 106 West to Route 104.
  • Turn left at traffic island marked Summer Street (Mobil gasoline station on right).
  • Continue on Summer Street until you see the observatory on your left, past Park Ave. (The observatory's sign is brown with white lettering).

Directions from Providence, Rhode Island and Points South

  • Follow I-95 North to I-495 South to Exit 7A (Route 24 North).
  • Once on Route 24 North, take exit 15 (first exit, Bridgewater/Raynham - Route 104.
  • Take Route 104 East to stop sign (approximately three miles).
  • Turn left and approach rotary in Bridgewater Center.
  • Enter the rotary. Turn onto School Street, which is the 2nd exit.
  • Turn right onto Summer Street and continue until you see the observatory on your left, past Park Ave. (The observatory's sign is brown with white lettering).

Parking

There is room to park several cars near the observatory and room for more near the road.
