Para-Transit Service

The BSU Para-Transit Service is a student-operated service affiliated with the Campus Bus Shuttle Service. The Para-Transit Service provides door-to-door service on a scheduled basis, Monday through Friday from 7a.m. - 8p.m. Students with permanent disabilities which seriously impact mobility, vision and the like should submit a request for service, with appropriate documentation, to Pat Connolly, Disability Resources at 508-531-1713 at least four weeks prior to the start of the semester, for approval. Students approved for the use of the Para-Transit Service must contact the Para-Transit Office at least three weeks prior to the start of classes to set up their individualized pick up and drop off schedule for the semester.

The current set up does not allow the Para-Transit Service to accommodate the needs of students with temporary disabilities. Use of the campus bus shuttle is encouraged in such cases. FAQ's
