The Crafts Concentration prepares students to pursue a crafts
apprenticeship, graduate school, or a career as a successful production
artist. After completing the required art department foundation
courses, students choose one of the following areas for specialization:
ceramics, metals, glass, or fibers. The Craft Concentration’s focus is
on developing each student’s technical knowledge, skill and individual
artistic perspective in relationship to the chosen medium.
Questions regarding the Crafts Concentration should be directed to Professor Preston Saunders or Professor Dorothy Pulsifer.
