The Experiential Learning Symposia gives Bridgewater State College students the opportunity to showcase and feature their experiential learning experience outside of the traditional classroom to the entire BSC Community including faculty, staff and fellow students. These experiences can be in the form of an internship, community service, service learning, study abroad and/or leadership and may take place on or off campus.

Preparation before the ELS Event:

  • What to Wear:  Shirts, ties, blouses can be colorful and creative.  Professional dress shoes, no sneakers or jeans please. Name tags on right lapel will be provided.

  • Oral Presentations:  Oral presentations will be limited to 10 - 12 minutes.

  • Professional Poster Display Criteria:  Poster must be created in publisher and will have specific dimension.  Career Services staff will be available beginning Friday, March 19, 2010 to help with this.  There are computer terminals available in Career Services.  Completed posters must be submitted by 5 PM, Friday, April 9, 2010.
