BSC Dance Ensemble

The BSC Dance Ensemble is part of a community outreach program at BSC, which performs in local benefit concerts, community performances as well as regional and national competitions. Last year the BSC Dance Ensemble performed at:

• Dance Fest 2003 - a benefit concert for the Girls & Boys Club of Brockton
• New England Collegiate Festival
• 9/11 Memorial Service At Bridgewater State College
• A benefit concert for a local battered women's shelter
• Taunton Lighting of the Green
• American Dance Awards (regional and national)
• Dance Ovations (regional and national)

The BSC Dance Ensemble has a sponsorship campaign as well as the Day with a Dancer Camp in which elementary students spend the day dancing with and learning from the BSC Dance Ensemble dancers. The Day with a Dancer Camp is held once each semester and is open to any interested students from 1st to 6th grade regardless of dance background.

The BSC Dance Ensemble is for advanced dancers and admittance is granted by audition or invitation only. A full year commitment is required.
