Institutional Assessment Activities

Institutional Assessment supports continuous improvement of programs and services of the College, including studies related to

  • regional and national accreditation

  • Bridgewater State College program reviews

  • assessment of outcomes from major areas of institutional activity such as the Core Curriculum

Institutional Assessment develops and conducts surveys or focus groups of students, faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and community members when those studies address division-level or College-level concerns.

Institutional Assessment coordinates regular major surveys, such as the Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP) Survey and the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), and the analysis and dissemination of the results of those surveys.
