International Visitors Guide

Introduction

This reference is designed to guide faculty, administrators, and staff in arranging for a short visit of an international guest or delegation to Bridgewater State University. It contains tips on planning and scheduling a visit, specific protocol considerations, and information about University resources.

Personnel responsible for the many arrangements on planning for an international guest, should realize that it is difficult to anticipate all of the visitor's needs. You simply want to make sure the visitor is comfortable and can accomplish the goals of the visit. And remember, visitors from other countries also want to learn U.S. customs while they are here and do not expect you to make everything just as it is in their country.
