Dr. Sandra Neargarder
Dr. Sandra Neargarder, associate professor of psychology, (pictured with President Dana Mohler-Faria) is one of this year's recipients of the Presidential Award for Distinguished Teaching. Her research interests include the investigation of how basic visual deficits affect the real-world functioning of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's patients, and the neuropsychological profiles of patients with various mitochondrial disorders.
