HOT!! HOT!! HOT!! SPRING BREAK 2012 TRIP!!!
The Geological Sciences Field Excursion class is offering a 3 credit course to the Yukatan Penninsula during the first 2 weeks of January 2010. All students and members of the BSC community are welcome to join us on this trip. Students should register for this course during spring registration to avoid any extra tuition charges. The formal brochure may be viewed on the International Studies webpage and registration is now open to the first 15 student that sign up in the office of International Studies. Estimated cost per student is $1700. includes travel, transportation, hotel, and guide. *Passport is needed* Come and experience the culture of Mayan Mexico, sample regional cooking, bargain in Mayan markets, visit spectacular Mayan Ruins, explore: tropical forests, salt deposits, cenotes (sinkholes), snorkel coral reefs, and collect fossils. The Geology Club would like to invite new members. This is an active club that organizes field trips and a lecture series each semester. Geological Science majors and all students with an interest in geological sciences are welcome.
