The Office of Student Affairs provides programs and services to promote the total educational experience for students from new student orientation to commencement. The student affairs central office staff supervises a wide range of departments including: athletics and recreation, BSU police, campus center, career services, the children's center, community services, commuter services, conference and event services, glbt pride center, health and counseling services, multicultural affairs, residence life and housing, student conduct and student involvement and leadership. The student affairs office coordinates the college scholarship and award recognition programs such as Honors Week and New Student Freshmen's Deans List and is responsible for many of the details associated with Commencement. If you need assistance with a social, personal, vocational or living problem, you will find the staff in the Office of Student Affairs is very willing to help you. If you have a suggestion about a new service or policy change, your ideas will be welcomed.
