This BSU Student Handbook is a guide to student's rights, responsibilities and resources.
Bridgewater State University communicates directly with students on matters that affect their university career. When students are experiencing problems, the university may decide to involve parents or guardians as a means of additional assistance and support for the student. Bridgewater State University may notify parents of guardians of students when a student is involved in an alcohol or drug violation, or when a student is experiencing medical or psychological emergencies. The vice president for student affairs or a designee will make such contact either by telephone or in writing.
