Kaitlyn, ’26 // Team Lead

Hi, everyone! My name is Kaitlyn and I’m from Norton, Massachusetts. As a senior at BSU, I’m a double major in secondary education and English with a minor in special education inclusive practices. My goal is to be a middle school English teacher and eventually receive my master’s in educational leadership.
Outside of working in the tour guide office, I’m a tutor in the Academic Achievement Center for first-year English courses and part of the Commonwealth Honors program. In my free time, I love to read, go on walks, and spend time with friends! I chose BSU because of its exceptional education program, which allows students to enter the classroom as quickly as their first year and go abroad for their student teaching. My favorite on-campus events are Homecoming and bingo nights!
BSU has become my home and I’m so excited to share it with all of you! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out at kmccarney@student.bridgew.edu.
Chloe ‘27 // Team Lead

Hey, everyone! My name is Chloe; I am a junior here at BSU and I’m majoring in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. I am from Shirley, which is a small town in central Massachusetts. Outside of being a tour guide, you can find me all over campus! I am currently in the Honors program and a resident on campus.
In my free time I love spending time with my friends and family. I also love camping, concerts, and shopping. There are always opportunities to get involved on campus and my favorite campus events are bingo nights. I have just completed my second year and absolutely loved it. The campus and the location are very nice, especially having the MBTA that runs right through campus into Boston is another plus! You are constantly meeting new people and making lifelong memories. The class sizes are small which is very helpful for individuals to build strong bonds with their professors and peers. If you are looking for a college with a great criminal justice program, I highly recommend Bridgewater. I strongly encourage individuals to consider BSU, and I hope you love it as much as I do! If you have any questions at all don’t be afraid to reach out to me at c8woodward@student.bridgew.edu
Alexia ‘27// Team Lead

Hello, everyone! My name is Alexia, and I'm from New Bedford, Massachusetts! I am a junior here at BSU with a political science major and a Japanese studies minor. After my time here at Bridgewater State, I hope to attend law school to obtain my JD and one day become a lawyer. A fun fact about me is that I backpacked through Europe this summer! Traveling is my passion, and I'm very knowledgeable about our study abroad program here on campus. In the spring of 2024, I joined a service-learning project with the BSU study abroad program where I and several other students went to Cuba. My minor will also help assist me when I study abroad in Japan during the spring 2026 semester. I absolutely adore BSU; even though it was not my first choice, it became home. I've made friends and memories at BSU that will truly last a lifetime. Some of my favorite things to do on campus include playing intramural sports, hanging out in University Park, and going to any sports games on campus. In my free time, I love going to the beach, hanging out with friends, and walking my dogs. Feel free to reach out here: a13rodriguez@student.bridgew.edu if you have any questions!
Jaydin, ’25

Hello, my name is Jaydin. I am an aviation science major with a concentration in flight training.
When not giving tours or flying I serve as a resident assistant in Woodward Hall with first year students. Additionally, I am a member of the BSU Civil Air Patrol Composite Squadron as an assistant emergency services officer and I serve on the e-board of the Organization of Black Areospace Professionals. Bridgewater is a great option for a local and cost effective way to begin a career in aviation.
Mads, ’26

Hi y'all! My name is Mads, and I am in my final year here at BSU! This is my third year being a tour guide and it has been one of the most amazing opportunities to be able to meet so many new and incoming students and being one of the first impressions they get of this institution. I am an out of state student from Texas, and BSU has done a wonderful job at becoming my home away from home. I am currently a Philosophy major with a minor in English Literature and Literary Studies. I am very passionate about music, art, and love to always have a good laugh!
Ashley ‘28

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, and I am a sophomore from Dennis, Massachusetts. I am currently a student in the Honors program, double majoring in Physical Education and Communications with hopes to pursue a career in Sports Journalism.
When I am not giving tours, I am involved in a few of BSU's many organizations on campus. I am an e-board officer for Program Council and take part in our published newspaper, The Comment, as the Campus Life Editor. One of my favorite things about Bridgewater is the large spectrum of opportunities offered to students. By getting involved on campus, I have made lasting connections with my peers, and faculty.
In my free time, you’ll most likely see me at our on-campus Dunkin, and if you do, never fear to reach out! If you have any questions, you can contact me at aholloman@student.bridgew.edu. GO BEARS!
Amelia, ’27

Hi everyone! My name is Amelia, and I am currently a junior, originally from Middleboro, Massachusetts. My major is Health Studies.
In addition to being a tour guide, I am also a cheerleader for the 8-time National Champion cheer team here at BSU. In my experience so far, Bridgewater State has provided me with all the tools I need to be successful and happy while transitioning to living on my own and navigating college life. I've taken advantage of some of the amazing opportunities here at BSU such as tutoring and counseling. (Both included in my tuition!) I've found that whenever I need any assistance, BSU has exactly what I need. In my free time, I have enjoyed many functions such as welcome events and Homecoming Weekend. I have made so many friends here, and I feel truly supported and at home. Choosing BSU is the best decision I have made for myself. I'm so proud to be a Bear!
Feel free to reach out to my email a1stebbins@student.bridgew.edu if you have any questions!

Peirce ‘27

Hello! My name is Peirce, I’m from Taunton, Massachusetts and a Junior here at BSU! I am a double major in secondary education and history with a minor in social studies. I would love to be a middle or high school history teacher, since I’ve been a history nerd all my life.
I love to hang out with my friends on campus and attend different campus events throughout the school year, it makes it more fun I promise! I also live on campus, which connects me more to the community and makes the most of student life. This past summer, I worked at a summer camp and took a birthday trip to Washington, D.C., which healed my history buff heart. I also went to the beach a lot and hung out with home friends. Being a tour guide is one of my favorite parts of college because I get to share what makes Bridgewater State University so special with future bears and their families!

Hi, my name is Bella Cava, and I'm a Junior at BSU. I'm from East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. My major is Communications with a concentration in digital media. When I'm on campus, I love hanging out with friends, going to sports games, and going to events like the midnight breakfast. In my free time, I love going into Boston on the commuter rail to go shopping or go to a Red Sox or Celtics game, and sometimes a concert.
I chose BSU because of the beautiful campus, how safe it is, and the small class sizes. I felt so welcome coming to BSU, and I hope I can make people feel the same way I did when I was introduced to campus. Feel free to reach out with any possible questions at Icava@student.bridgew.edu, and Go Bears!
Dom ‘26

Through my various involvements on campus, hundreds of events attended, and various contributions made to campus, BSU has helped me progress and step up as a leader in ways that I never thought I would. In four years, I've gone from being a learner to being a leader, and at the end of this year, I will have gone from IEP to bachelor's degree. How cool is that?! And I owe it all to the friends, faculty, extended family, laughs, and memories that I've made along the way. College is awesome - and GO BEARS!!!!!
Jane ‘26

Hi! My name is Jane, and I am a Senior here at BSU. My major is Biology with a concentration in cellular and molecular biology and a minor in chemistry. After I graduate, I hope to work in a biotech lab, researching and developing medications. I plan to obtain a doctorate in microbiology someday so I can run my own lab.
When I am not giving tours or in class, I love to attend events on campus. We have so many fun events, but my favorite is Duck Day at the end of the year. I truly love being on campus, and I love Bridgewater!
Emma ‘28

Hi Everyone!! My name is Emma and I'm from Everett, MA and I'm a sophomore here at BSU. I major in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. Once I graduate, I plan on going right to the police academy and from there making my way into Law Enforcement.
In my free time on campus, I love to hang out with my friends or even just have a chill day or night in my res hall watching my favorite shows or movies. I chose BSU because it made me feel at home, everyone is so nice and always makes you feel included. BSU always hosts amazing events on campus, and my favorite would definitely be either Midnight Madness or the little events that the RA's will hold in the res halls, those always give you the chance to grow stronger to your RA's. I have made the best friends ever here and feel so at home, BSU was definitely a perfect choice for me. Go Bears!!
Kate ‘27

Hi! My name is Kate, and I am a junior from Walpole, MA. I am a secondary education and history double major with a minor in social studies.
Bridgewater has proven to be one of the greatest decisions I have ever made! The education program makes me excited about my future as a teacher, and small class sizes allow me to learn from my peers and professors with an individualistic feel. The Honors Program provides an opportunity to get involved and receive additional academic counseling. I could not be happier with the group of friends I’ve made here, and I look forward to coming back to campus every time we go on break! In my free time, I enjoy shopping, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with family and friends (studying too, of course). I have found the best fit for me, and I truly adore being a bear.
I look forward to sharing my love for BSU and its programs, and I think it would be a great fit for you. Please reach out with any questions through my email kguilday@student.bridgew.edu. I hope to see you soon!
Giana ‘26

Hello, there! My name is Giana; I am a senior at BSU, and I am from Brimfield, Massachusetts. I am a Music major concentrating in vocal studies and I have a dance minor. I am very involved on campus as I hold several jobs and leadership positions. Along with being a tour guide, I am an assistant in the Music Department office. Download the mobile app ZeeMee to connect with current student influencers like me and other incoming students! I am also very involved in the performing arts mainstage productions on campus.
In my free time, I love to meet up with friends and enjoy a strawberry refresher from Starbucks on campus. In between classes, you will catch me hanging out in the music lounge in the RSU, working on homework and probably eating sushi or a poke bowl. My favorite campus tradition is the midnight breakfast hosted the day before finals begin — it always gives me the steam and courage I need to get through the stressful week ahead! I chose BSU because the second I stepped on campus for my first ever college tour, I immediately felt at home and knew that this campus was the place for me. As a first-generation student, this gut feeling and my tour guide’s passion and spirit for the community made my decision easy. I now want to create that same experience for new students and families/supporters! Please feel free to email me at guwazany@student.bridgew.edu with any questions about BSU, the performing arts, or anything else. Hope to see you soon and as always: GO BEARS!
Mikaura ‘28

Heyy, I’m Mikaura (pronounced Muh-car-ruh)! But, I also go by Kaura if it's easier. I’m a sophomore here at BSU from Boston, MA, majoring in Social Work with plans to further achieve my MSW and become licensed. As a first-generation college student, coming to college in general was a big step for me, but I’m glad I started off here at BSU.
Along with being a Tour Guide, I'm a Team Lead at the Martin Richard Institute for Social Justice (MRISJ), where I’ve been able to connect with other students who share similar goals/ interests. Outside of academics, I honestly just like to relax. I’m very organized, so planning out my days to keep myself balanced to not feel overwhelmed is definitely something I do, But I also love hanging out, listening to music, and sometimes just going where the wind takes me.
As a former athlete, I love going to BSU games — whether it’s volleyball, football, basketball, track meets, or even lacrosse. The ambience at these events is what I love most. In saying this, I was also always told that you can get through life as long as you have one good friend — stick with those people, experience things together, and have fun. At last, you made it either way, so congratulations!
If you need to reach out for anything don’t hesitate - m1galvao@student.bridgew.edu
Rianne, ’26

Hi, everyone! My name is Rianne; I am a senior from Hudson, Massachusetts, studying history and minoring in American studies, anthropology and art history.
On campus, I am a tour guide, member of the anthropology club and part of the Honors program. I chose BSU for the homey feel and have come to love the atmosphere and wonderful people I’ve met while exploring campus. All of the professors I have taken courses with thus far in my academic career have been so amazing and have made me exited to come to class every day! My favorite BSU tradition has to be bingo — it is always so much fun to hang out with your friends and try to win some great prizes. It also shows the amazing spirit we all have as a student body. I have loved my experience at BSU, and I hope that you will as well!
Matt, ’25

Hello, everyone! My name is Matt; I am a senior majoring in Secondary Education with a minor in Communications, and I am from Taunton.
Throughout my time at BSU, I have worked within our orientation team in a few different roles as well as within our admissions office as a tour guide. What I most love about BSU is how connected our student population is while attending the many amazing events on campus and making connections with new people throughout the year, as well as seeing how passionate and involved our students are on campus! My favorite events to attend on campus are the ones hosted by our program council, but some events I’ve enjoyed are the big bingo nights we have on the Boyden Quad, as well as some of the Mario Kart tournaments we had in the past.
