The annual Job & Internship Fair at Bridgewater State University will be held Wednesday, April 2 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in the Rondileau Campus Center Ballroom. More than 60 employers, representing a broad spectrum of career fields including accounting, aviation, finance/banking, human/social services, communications, technology, sales, customer service, retail, insurance and management, will attend. Professional dress is recommended and please be sure to bring plenty of resumes. The Campus Center is located at 19 Park Avenue, with free parking available.

Banner Days

In a ceremony prior to Saturday's win over Framingham State, the Bears unveiled the Women's Basketball 1,000-Point Banner and honored the 16 (now 17) members of the 1,000-Point Club.
 
Four BSU Hall of Famers, Cathy Baker, '85; Carolyn Parsley, '86; JoAnn Runge, '88; and Lynn Malkasian, '90 were among the 15 players in attendance for the ceremony.  Also honored was current Bear Jenna Williamson who became the program's all-time leading scorer in the win over the Rams.

Evening Degree Session

The Office of Continuing & Distance Education will hold an Evening Degree Information Session for those seeking to complete their bachelor's degrees on Wednesday, April 9 starting at 6 p.m. in Room 221 of the Moakley Center. Attendees will learn about Bridgewater State University's nine evening degree completion programs, attending Bridgewater as an evening student and the admissions and transfer processes. The College of  Graduate Studies at Bridgewater State University will host an information session on Thursday, Feb. 20 from 4 to 5 p.m. in Room 120 in the Center for Science & Mathematics. Information about the university's graduate programs and application process will be available. Of special interest will be a presentation called "Pathways to Educator Licensure" presented by the College of Education & Allied Studies. An information session for the School Counseling graduate program at Bridgewater State University will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 3 p.m. in Room 115 of the Kelly Gymnasium. Dr. Theresa Coogan, program director for School Counseling, will discuss the program, admissions requirements and answer questions.
