Office of Regional Outreach

The Office of Regional Outreach (ORO) at Bridgewater State University is responsible for coordinating and networking the many individuals and units of the university with external constituencies. ORO also serves as a resource for the external community accessing college resources; works with faculty and staff of the university, external partners and contacts in the region to ensure coordination of information related to outreach efforts. The Office of Regional Outreach is responsible for planning and coordinating strategic initiatives of the university designed to improve or enhance relations with the external communities as it relates to the university's mission.

The ORO also oversees economic development activities, entrepreneurship activities, and the Office of Outreach to preK-12 Schools. Our economic development activities include active chamber and agency collaborations as well as coordination of the Old Colony Crossroads Collaborative. Outreach to PreK-12 Schools serves to link the public schools in the region to the University coordinating and directing efforts to the Graduate School, School of Education, and other entities of the University.
