Juan De Leon

Mr. Juan De Leon, a senior majoring in geography at Bridgewater State University, was elected by the student body to serve as Student Trustee for the 2011-2012 academic year. Mr. De Leon is a senior resident assistant in Woodward Hall. Previously, he he had served as a resident assistant. He was also an orientation leader during the summer of 2010.

Mr. De Leon is heavily involved in the Bridgewater State community. He is a member of multiple organizations and serves on a number of committees for Residence Life and Housing, as well as the Student Government Association, for which he served as a senator during the 2009-2010 year. He is entering his second term as vice president for Men Integrated in Brotherhood, an organization that seeks to create a sense of community among minority men on campus. He was a member of the football team during his freshmen and sophomore years.

At the age of 10, Mr. De Leon moved from the Dominican Republic to Northbridge, where he still resides. After graduation he plans to join the United States Marine Corps as a commissioned officer.
