Scanning the Past

News & Events

History lives again in a digital form thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Maxwell Library and the Boston Public Library.

A federal grant has allowed the BPL to offer its extensive scanning services to qualified institutions across the state. BSU applied to take part, citing the need to scan the institution's yearbooks.

The BPL committed to scanning 15,000 pages.

Educational Licensure

A Pathways to Educational Licensure session will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Room 120 of the Center for Science & Mathematics. These sessions are designed to give graduate students an opportunity to meet with Graduate Admissions staff. Mary Ann McKinnon, assistant dean of the College of Education & Allied Studies, will be available to answer questions regarding licensure requirements. Featured programs are: Master of Public Administration (MPA), Master of Science in Criminal Justice, Master of Science in Computer Science and Master of Arts in Psychology.
