Graduate Cost & Budgeting

Cost of Attendance for BSU’s College of Graduate Studies

The cost of attendance represents the cost of attending Bridgewater State University for an academic year and includes both direct costs that appear on your student bill, such as tuition and fees, and indirect costs that are not billed by BSU, such as living expenses, books and supplies, transportation, and an allowance for personal expenses. Students should consider their cost of attendance as their budget for each academic year. BSU also uses the cost of attendance to help determine a student’s eligibility for financial aid.

Each of BSU’s graduate programs has a unique cost of attendance based on the billed and unbilled expenses of that program. Some elements are consistent across all programs, but many are linked to the specific requirement of your program.

This section lists tuition and mandatory fees for each of the graduate studies programs, along with living expenses budgets where applicable. Check your graduate program for more information about costs specific to your degree.

Important Information

Costs listed below reflect the 2024-2025 academic year.

In Graduate Studies, students are charged per credit, not flat-rate tuition.

Tuition and fees do not necessarily represent the full cost of your program. The graduate programs use the full-time living expense budgets listed below, combined with your tuition and program fees, to determine your eligibility for financial aid funding. You should use this information in creating your budget for the academic year. If you intend to live on campus, please reach out to the financial aid office and they can review the costs associated with residential housing.
