See What Hard Work Can Do
The Bridgewater State University community is living proof that hard work transforms.
Our students juggle education with the other—sometimes greater—demands of their everyday lives. They’re tenacious. Resilient. Driven to overcome the odds and make the most of every opportunity.
And we match their drive with innovation, compassion and an unwavering commitment to their success.
Opening Doors
Bridgewater was named a 2024 Best College in America by The Wall Street Journal. The ranking found that students may earn a complete return on their investment at BSU in roughly two and a half years, another reason to have confidence that attending BSU is a wise choice.
BSU is considered the 3rd safest college nationally. Bridgewater’s high marks reflect strategic investments, the BSU Police Department’s effort to build relationships with students, and the university’s commitment to transparency and compliance with the Clery Act, an act that strives to provide students and staff with information about campus policy and statistics.
