Dr. Linda Meiberg

Linda Meiberg received her BA and MA in Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Cultures at Tel Aviv University. Her PhD in Art and Archaeology of the Mediterranean World at the University of Pennsylvania included intensive training in art history with her dissertation focusing on the iconography of figural motifs in the Bronze and Iron Ages of the Eastern Mediterranean littoral, particularly through the lens of Philistine culture. Linda joined the art history program at BSU in 2020 and continues to teach as an adjunct in the department. Linda has been affiliated with several archaeological expeditions in Israel, Greece, and Cyprus since the late 1980s.
