Michael Welch received his master's degree in Education Administration from Fordham University at Lincoln Center. He teaches Introduction to Aviation Management (AVSC 305), Aviation Safety (AVSC 310), Aviation Regulatory Process (AVSC 320), Aviation Management (AVSC 471) and Air Carrier Operations (AVSC 307). Having been in the airline business for more than thirty-three years, he finds teaching future aviation leaders to be an excellent way to impart his knowledge and make a positive change in the future. His research continues to examine the business of today's carriers. He is an avid Boston sports fan and has been a railroad groupie since his childhood.
