Dr. Susan Eliason is a professor in the Childhood Studies Department. At BSU, she serves in leadership roles that promote faculty development, such as a fellow for the Office of Teaching and Learning, the Teaching and Technology Center, and co-coordinator for the Interdisciplinary Learning and Research initiative. Dr. Eliason teaches and developed courses for Childhood Studies, Virtual Education, and the Early Education and Care program. She also creates texts and open educational resources used in these courses. Recent presentations include: Supporting Interdisciplinary Learning: Project-Based Learning in the Virtual Environment; Civic learning across colleges: Pursuing equity by identifying inequities & advancing civic dispositions; and Creating Interactive, Integrative, and Engaging Online Content with Choice Boards.
