Arthur Lizie is a Professor of Communication. His teaching interests include media and cultural studies, mainly film and popular music. He is heavily invested in study abroad, having brought students to more than half a dozen countries including Italy, Morocco, and Greece. His research interests include film and food studies, but have more recently focused on popular music, including recent books "Prince FAQ: All That’s Left to Know About the Purple Reign" and "Neil Young on Neil Young: Interviews and Encounters." He enjoys cooking and short-to-medium range walks on the beach, but spends much of his time at high school music and sporting events.
