I am currently an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at Bridgewater State University (BSU). I am serving as the faculty advisor to the BSU PRSSA chapter and have been a PRSA member for 10 years. Before joining BSU, I dedicated over 16 years to the MA public education system, with 13 years as the Executive Director of Integrated Marketing and Communications at Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC), where I functioned as the official spokesperson for the College and reported directly to the President. In this role, I spearheaded comprehensive content strategies and campaigns across various areas, including public relations, government relations, marketing, advertising, internal communications, web and intranet sites, and social media. I managed numerous crisis communication incidents, developed statements and press releases, and conducted media interviews. Additionally, I am a part-time instructor at BHCC's Enterprise Center for Entrepreneurship & Training, where I created and teach the course "Small Business Marketing." Since 2015, I have been a member of the WGBH Corporate Executive Council board and recently concluded a three-year tenure as the board chair. I am currently preparing for the Accreditation of Public Relations (APR) exam.
