BoAh Kim is an associate professor in the BSU Geography Department. She specializes in the field of Urban and Regional Science and Spatial analysis. She teaches classes in Intro and Advanced GIS and Cartography and Urban Geography. Her research focuses on GIS application in urban and community planning, geodesign and urban issues, which has centered on urban informatics and shrinking/growing cities for urban revitalization and sustainable community. Her research has appeared in Journal of Geovisualization and Spatial Studies, International Journal of Contemporary Urban Affairs, Landscape Research, Journal of Urban Design, The Sustainable City IX: Urban Regeneration and Sustainability, Digital Landscape Architecture and at the Conference of Urban Affairs Association and Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning.
