Dr. Philip Szlosek began teaching at Bridgewater State University in 2017. Dr. Szlosek primarily teaches and advises students in BSU's health science programs. He thoroughly enjoys getting to know his students and mentoring them to achieve their academic and professional goals. Philip is a certified and licensed athletic trainer, which allows him to bring years of experience as a healthcare provider into the classroom. Dr. Szlosek has presented original research internationally, and his research interests include evaluating athletic training professional readiness, the development of a professional readiness assessment instrument for athletic training, and the efficacy of therapeutic modalities. In his free time, Philip enjoys spending time with his family, playing the saxophone, enjoying the outdoors, and following Boston professional sports.
