Dr. Xiangrong Liu is a Professor of Management in the Ricciardi College of Business. She specializes in the fields of Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. Professor Liu’s research focus is mathematical modeling with applications in supply chain management. Her current research emphasizes such global sustainability issues as remanufacturing, biofuel, pollution emission controls, renewable energy, and sustainable supply chains. Recently, she published in the Journal of the Operational Research Society, Information Systems Education Journal, International Journal of Information and Operations Management Education, Bridgewater Review, and a special issue of China Media Research: Sustainability, Resilience, and Global Communication. Professor Liu serves as Internship Coordinator for Management and Team Leader for Collaborative Undergraduate Business Experiences (CUBEs). Her professional certifications include Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and SAS Basics and Advanced. Professor Liu provides consulting to regional and international energy companies and non-profit organizations. She also leads students to work closely with industry through internship and course research projects.
