Roy Campbell - trombone

Roy has had a long career as trombonist for the Boston Opera Company, principal trombonist for over 30 years at the Colonial Theater, Boston, as well as house trombonist for the Melody Tents of Hyannis and Hingham. He served for many years as principal trombonist for Indian Hill Symphony, Cape Symphony, Nashua Symphony and Manchester Symphony. He has also performed for the Albany Symphony and Boston Symphonies "Adventures in Music Gigs".

In addition to many high school teaching positions, Roy has been on the faculty of Brown University and continues to be in the faculty of Bridgewater State University. As a Pianist he also continues as Music Director at the Federated Church of Hyannis.

Roy earned an Associate degree of Business Management at Cape Cod Community College and a Bachelor of Trombone/Piano Performance at UMass Lowell. He also studied trombone with John Coffee and Ron Baron at Boston University.
