Professor Womack is a philosopher of public health, working at the intersection of philosophy of science and applied ethics. She has published in journals (Public Health Ethics, International Journal of Feminist Approaches to Bioethics, Appetite, Medicine, Health Care and Philosophy, and others) and anthologies. She has written for general publications, including The Conversation and WBUR's Cognoscenti. She blogs weekly on issues of feminism and fitness at Fit is a Feminist Issue. Professor Womack's teaching interests include Philosophy of Food, Public Health Ethics, Values in Science and Applied Ethics.
